Process
Smore Please was a project where I really felt like I needed to prove myself. It was a brand new term for me, with all new people since I switched from the summer term to the fall term, meaning I didn’t know anyone, and they didn’t know who I was as a designer. This challenge motivated me to showcase my skills and creativity right from the start.
While designing numerous logos, I wanted to ensure that I created something truly memorable so my classmates could see who I was and what I could do. As I worked through my ideas, I focused on crafting a logo that was not only cute but also brandable and easy to recognize. It definitely paid off! I could tell I had hit the mark when a big wave of “AWWWW” filled the entire room during my presentation. That moment was incredibly rewarding and confirmed that my design resonated with my peers. Overall, this simplistic design became one of the projects that made me most memorable among my classmates, proving that in an actual client setting, I can create long-lasting designs that leave an impact.
